🎓 Graduating on December 15th with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management
🌟 Utilized Florida Bright Futures Scholarship at UNF

From coursework to extracurriculars, Ryan made the most of his time at UNF, creating lasting memories attending sporting events and exploring the Eco Adventure program. During his semester as a Practicum student, Ryan benefited from Dr. Jason Lee's guidance and practical exercises like mock interviews, preparing him for real-world job searches. Dr. Liz Gregg also played a crucial role in connecting students with guest speakers and internship opportunities.

Ryan's dedication shines through as he successfully balanced being a full-time employee and a full-time student since the fall of 2020. He gained valuable insights into the retail business through his practicum with flomotion and is currently interning with rei of Jacksonville. Additionally, Ryan is a Game Day Stage Manager with the jaguars. As a lifelong Jags fan, the opportunity to create experiences for fans and gain exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into the inner workings of an NFL organization is something he is extremely grateful for.

Ryan says “UNF is home to the best Sport Management program in the state of Florida. The obvious pipeline to local teams like the Jacksonville Armada FC, Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Jaguars makes it an ideal landing spot for any aspiring student. Sport Marketing, Sport Facility Management and Outdoor Adventure Education were some of my favorite and most impactful courses I took while studying at UNF. I found them to be informative, entertaining, and relevant to my career path.”

Post-graduation, Ryan plans to leverage his connections and experiences gained during internships to build a career in Jacksonville.
