Image Text: I will be working with young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as a Skills Instructor for Project SEARCH in Cartersville, Georgia. I will miss working as a mentor for the students in the THRIVE Program, the beautiful campus, and being able to attend various on-campus events. I really enjoyed all of my major courses, however, Disability, Employment, and Community Engagement (EEX4779) was my favorite. This class gave me insight into how many individuals with disabilities are unemployed and sparked my desire to be an advocate to decrease that rate. A piece of advice that I would give my freshman self is that it's alright to change your major a few times and to take your time to graduate because, in the end, you will find your true passions.
