Last night, Gregg Berhalter took a shot at people questioning Gio Reyna’s inclusion in the squad, which seemed like a direct shot at Jesse Marsch.

“I think he was talking about you [Jimmy Conrad],” Marsch laughed it off.

“He’s wrong, first of all. We didn’t say Gio shouldn’t have been brought into camp. In fact, we made a list of players that are locks and Gio was on that.”

“We were just having discussions. When you’re putting together a squad, you have to evaluate form, fitness, and everything else.”

“What the hell is he addressing this for?” a much more serious Tony Meola asked.

“Your team, I’m sorry, performed pretty poorly for 90 plus minutes. This is a deflection.”

“You [Marsch] did him a favor if he’s talking to you because this is a deflection. I don’t understand how you can address this when they almost got knocked out against a weakened Jamaica.”

“And to really go out of your way [to address this], like he’s telling a joke at a bar. It’s just a couple of podcasters talking sh*t about what we think of the USMNT,” Conrad added.

“It’s interesting he went out of his way to discuss that.”
