my body feels different depending on the setting I’m in! 😱

part three of things I didn’t realize about cerebral palsy until I was an adult 🥳

It’s likely I experienced this my whole life? But I had a light bulb moment a couple years ago during a conversation with a friend that also has CP that if I know someone is possibly staring at me, even if surface level I don’t care, my body starts to move differently and I feel much more tense and even nervous to walk compared to being at home or on my own when no one is watching. I thought it was interesting and knowing this has helped me understand myself a little more.
