Who looks out for us?

The 2 party system worked until it didn’t. This day and age we have 2 extremes that are constantly at each others throats and a moderate candidate does not seem to be an option. 

Why cant we have a conservative with some progressive views or a progressive with some conservative views? Right now it is left or right, but theres doesn’t seem to be any compromise. 

You have to think, what are we doing? Where are we going? Do you think there are any ways around this? Im open to listening and learning, so if anyone has a valid solution please let me know.
