Symmetry from the sky. These octagonal city blocks of Eixample, Barcelona were designed in the mid-19th century by a visionary architect called Cerdà. Each block was designed with a cool, shaded garden in the middle, and curved corners to allow more space for modern traffic systems. Which city do you think has the best design?
