Tonight in Hong Kong, a pink gold 2nd series, retailed by Gobbi Milano, has soared to HK$60,265,000/ US$7.7m after a 6 min bidding battle among 4 telephone bidders (against a pre-sale est. HK$24m – 48m/ US$3m – 6m). The example is the only known pink gold second series featuring a retailer signature on the dial.

All 39 lots from The Nevadian Collector – a prestigious private collection encompassing the most exceptional vintage timepieces – are sold and achieved a staggering sales total of HK$162m/ US$20.7m,  standing as the most valuable single owner watches sale ever staged by Sotheby’s in Asia.
