## Caption

Perhaps one of the longest-running Patek Philippe series, the #Calatrava reference 3998, in production for a whopping 18 years from 1989 to 2007, is part and parcel of the maison’s flagship collection. Seeking to develop the trademark clean-lined, refined Calatrava look, the brand launched the 3998 in a vast variety of styles from golds to platinum, diamonds dials to gem-set dials. Taking the best of the Calatrava design cues and taking it a few steps further, the present piece is an extremely special edition of the traditional reference 3998. Boasting the best of blue, this watch features a series of striking sapphire-set indexes atop a soft cream dial—a beautiful combination to compliment any wrist, any day.
