Uniting the immediacy of cartoons with the dynamism of the Art Brut movement, ‘Untitled, 1984, is a prime example of Keith Haring's pioneering style at only 26 years old. First and foremost a storyteller, the artist created a world of distortion à la Salvador Dalí on an enormous scale—reminiscent of Haring’s cherished murals and public arts projects.
