Can we go back to this wedding day and live in it forever? The details of Janna & Alex’s day were absolutely stunning! 

When picking out your details you want items that reflect you! Here’s some great examples of what I’d include in my wedding day details: 
-Florals// Your florals are the best way to create dimension in your detail photos and wide shots! Ask your florist if they have any leftover scraps to give to your photographer! If you make your own be sure to save them and put in your details box! Make sure your flowers are already there by the time your photographer/videographer arrive.

-Rings// This one may be obvious but you’d be shocked the amount of times I’ve had to chase a groom down in another building to find his ring! Make sure they’re all together the morning of your wedding along with a cute ring box that reflects your theme! You can find these on Amazon, Etsy, fb marketplace, and even thrift stores! 

Jewlery// Your earrings, necklace, cuff links, watch, etc. make great add ins to your detail shots. I love to think of the jewelry you wear on your wedding day as the start to a family heirloom. Including them in your photos creates a new connection for your family to look back on! 

Invitation Suite// One of my favorite parts of details is the invitations. Often times we loose our save the date and invitation this is a beautiful way to capture them and know you’ll get to look at them forever! If you want to step it up a notch include a beautiful envelope that’s on theme! These can be found at Etsy and Amazon as well! I always recommend bringing 2 invitations and 2 save the dates!

Menswear// Often times the men’s wardrobe is overlooked. A great way to capture it is to include his shoes, cuff links, watch, suspenders/belt, tie, socks, cologne, etc. in the mix! 

Extras// if you want to personalize your shots even more include things such as family heirlooms, perfume, garter, a personalized dress hanger, lipstick/gloss, handkerchiefs, etc.
