#BUFeatureFriday: The myth, the legend, the seal. The myth is that if you step on it, you won’t graduate (in time, at least). Made of black stone and bronze letters, no one knows where the legend came from. Even more bizarre is that even though students call it the BU seal, it is actually the University’s coat of arms, or crest, a completely different symbol with its own history. Would you step on it?
