#TerrierTuesdays: Meet Kedzie Teller (kedziet), a graduate from #BostonUniversity's College of Communication in 2012 with a major in journalism and a concentration in Spanish. Kedzie is taking over our story today for a special #TerrierTakeover! Be sure to ask him your questions about BU.

When asked why he enjoyed being a Terrier, Kedzie said, "My four years at BU opened my eyes in ways I never expected. I gained more than just a good education; I learned who I was. BU immersed me in a world of diversity and thoughtfulness I had always sought to discover, and it allowed me to better understand my unique role in it. I was challenged, encouraged, and taught that the best way forward isn't always a straight line. I am forever grateful to be a Terrier. Since graduating, my path has been winding, but always with clarity and purpose. I've moved quite a bit looking for new experiences and opportunities to grow, but I've begun to grow roots in my latest home, Philadelphia. I achieved my dream career, then decided I wanted more and launched my own marketing business which I've now been running for three years. So often I attribute my resiliency and drive to the years I spent in Boston."

As for advice for prospective and current BU students, Kedzie said, "Set your eyes on what you want, work as hard as you can, and then be prepared to learn that your dreams were never what you originally imagined. Life is full of surprises and setbacks, and in my experience, those who succeed are the people whose passion keeps them moving forward. Just keep going."
