Meet jswabik272, a junior and versatile athlete at CUBuffstrack hailing from Sherman, New York. Son of Michelle and John Swabik, and sibling to Dylan (28), Jacob (18), and Daisy (25), a U.S. Army medic. John's brothers excelled in football and wrestling. A Sherman Central High School graduate, John was the USATF Junior Olympics Decathlon runner-up and held the New York freshman state record in the Pentathlon. In 2019, he earned the title of New York Class D MVP for football and was a National Honor Society member.

Currently pursuing a major in leadership and community engagement, as well as a second major in sociology, John actively mentors high school students on their faith journey. After graduation, he plans to return to the East Coast, entering the workforce with a passion for assisting others. Beyond his track and academic pursuits, John enjoys hands-on problem-solving, basketball, music production, and collaborating with his dad on restoring and riding snowmobiles, dirt bikes, or anything with a motor. 🏃‍♂️📚
