Clean water is essential to help families break the cycle of poverty and poor health in rural communities.  

When women spend hours fetching unclean water, their entire family is impacted. Children miss school. Husbands lose time to engage in income-generating activities. Grandparents are neglected. Babies get sick, or worse.  It even causes conflicts between neighboring families.

All of that changes when The Sonder Project constructs a deep-water well within a community. A single well can provide access to clean water for up to 50 families or more within one of our partner communities. That equates to just $240/family.
