For its 40th anniversary, luxury brand stoneisland_official partnered with Jeremy Elkin to create a documentary film on their new retail identity from their lab in Ravarino, Italy. Narrated by OMA/AMO's Samir Bantal, Elkin and Bantal highlight Stone Island’s approach in transforming materials from typical into unique inspirations. Stone Island with OMA/AMO showcase how they revolutionize its stores’ ID to create points of reference, hubs for its communities, spaces transcending transactional activities designed to experience the wealth of brand research and experimentation on design and product manipulation. The new store features altar-like spaces highlighting Stone Island’s devotion to technology and development. The first new store, in Chicago, is now open.
