## Caption

TimLaman takeover [3/8] telling the story of the BBC #PlanetEarth2 shoot in the remote islands of West Papua, Indonesia.  Objective: filming the elusive Red Bird-of-Paradise from the top of the rain forest canopy.

After many days of scouting effort with our local guides, we finally chose a tree to work at where birds were coming every morning.  Hauling gear there involved a long hike up steep limestone hills covered in forest.  Here Benny carries a tripod case weighing over 30KG up the hill.  #Indonesia #PlanetEarth2 #BirdDay
