Our team of porters making the transition from the jungle to the mountains.  What made this expedition different was that it was an ‘anti-everest’. This means there is no “set up expedition support” for Himalayan climbing in the region, nobody fixing the ropes and porters are very hard to come by.  We had a hard time finding the personnelle to help, so much so that we had to cut our gear in half then in half again.  This meant less food, fewer warm clothes and a very carefully paired-down kit for the film production.  At this point we are barely making it happen just to reach our remote basecamp.
