renan_ozturk camp4collective takeover [1/10] Very honored to be taking over the feed for a couple days.  I’ll be telling the story of the natgeo thenorthface expedition to the Burmese Himalaya where we attempted to solve the mystery of the highest peak in SE Asia.

As a climber/cinematographer the challenge is always to not slow down the other athletes and accomplish the greater goal of exploration.  Without big crews embedded with the team, it becomes an athletic challenge in its own right to sprint/climb ahead to get shots.  On this adventure I took the #REDEPIC for two months, carrying it from sea level to 18,000 ft.  The crux as a camera operator came early on in the jungle when I soaked the monitor and lost the ability to see my frame or change settings on the RED, so I proceeded to shoot it blind for most of the trip…  The link for the full story called “Breaking Burma” is in the profile…
