🐟The verb espetar means "to thread". This is a traditional way of cooking fresh fish, often sardines, but also turbot, sea bream, even shellfish and squid.

They are nailed to a long, flat stick and roasted over an open fire on the beach. This technique belongs to the city of Málaga, located in the south of Spain.
