American Craft Beer Week is May 10 - 16. To kick things off today I tapped Raspberry Pater Europae. This is our German-Belgo Blackberry Blonde Ale with the addition of raspberries. Ripe blackberry tartness up front with jammy raspberry on the finish. Yes, this is a "fruit beer" but Pater is substantial enough to help stave off the cold at 7.3% ABV. On Friday we will have another special release. All I will say about this one is that it is the first beer we ever bottled at Grimm Brothers. We are excited for this one, can you guess what it is?! Prost!
