As we draw the curtains on 2018, we look back at 18 highlights of our year at Esplanade (in no particular order). #18 saw theatre-maker liu_xiao_yi turn our carpark into a performance space for the first time, filling it with a makeshift pool of water, a beat-up car, and other interactive objects. Einstein in the Carpark was the second in a trio of three commissions by Huayi - Chinese Festival of Arts, with the last piece titled FOUR FOUR EIGHT (to be set in theexciseman) a part of the Huayi 2019 lineup.
