In conjunction with the Bicentennial of Saint Philippine Duchesne’s voyage to America, The Class of 2020 and Religion teacher Maryanne Mignone created an installation. The ships in the stairwell, made on the sophomore retreat, were designed to resemble The Rebecca, the vessel that departed France with St. Philippine and four other Religious of the Sacred Heart, as they embarked on their journey to the United States. #NCDS #religionandart #art #sacredheartnetwork #stphilippineduchesne #UpperSchool
