We are honored and grateful that Cakap has secured a valuation of over USD 100 million after completing its Series C1 round of funding. The investment was led by mdiventures and Heritas Capital and will be used to develop blended learning solutions, providing students with more options tailored to their individual interests and needs. The funds will also be used to further Cakap's business performance in language learning, upskilling, and other pillars. 

With a valuation of over USD 100 million, Cakap has confirmed its Centaur status. In the world of startups, companies with valuations between USD 100 million and USD 1 billion are called Centaurs, which is one step below Unicorns (USD 1-10 billion). By achieving this milestone, Cakap hopes to bridge the market demand with blended learning systems. With more options like blended learning, the community will have the opportunity to choose learning methods that are tailored to their interests and needs. 
 
In addition to achieving Centaur status, Cakap has also appointed Jonathan Dharmasoeka as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Cecillia Ong (王秀让） as Chief Operating Officer (COO). We are proud to recognize the commitment and achievements of both individuals and look forward to their continued leadership and contributions to the company.
