Today I’m sharing something a little more personal. 💛

Have you heard of kindbody? I actually discovered this amazing fertility company walking down the street to my office. After mentioning their name to a few friends and sharing our stories about fertility, it prompted lots of questions around the subject. I don’t think there should be a stigma when it comes to sharing this and i honestly don’t think women talk about the subject enough! It’s time to normalize this topic and also embrace the incredible opportunities that science and medicine offer.  So with that, I’m sharing my experience here:

To start, it goes without saying that everyone’s journey is so personal and so different. My personal experience with kindbody was much easier than I expected it to be. I have to say, i was pleasantly surprised by how seamless and painless and fast (!) the whole process was. After receiving a customized medication plan, I was able to follow their steps in the comfort of my own home while checking in with my assigned nurse and going in for regular checkups. 

Once the ten-day treatment period was over, I took the trigger shot and began the egg retrieval process. They knocked me out and we had a successful retrieval,  however because of my age and the statistics i will do another round in the fall. 

I choose to freeze my eggs because I want to own my future. I just moved back to NYC and being a career woman, who is rebuilding her business after the pandemic, it felt liberating to have the assurance that i can plan for my life *on my time* and *on my terms* 💪🏻🙏🏻💛

 I am so grateful for the team of nurses and doctors, and to the science (!) that is making it easier for women and couples to take control of their future and their family planning. Thank you kindbody!
