UAPB Football NFL Week 7 Preview

Former University of Arkansas At Pine Bluff football standouts Jamie Gillan of the Cleveland Browns and Terron Armstead of the New Orleans Saints will be in action Sunday in National Football League action. 

Gillan and the Browns (4-2) will play at Cincinnati (1-4-1) on CBS, while Armstead and the Saints (3-2) host Carolina (3-3) on FOX. 
Both games are set for noon kickoffs.

The Browns (4-2) will look to bounce back from a 38-7 loss at Pittsburgh last week. In his second season with Cleveland, Gillan is averaging 43.6 yards on 21 punts, with eight downed inside the 20. 

It’s the second matchup of the season between the Ohio rivals, with the Browns winning 35-30 on Sept. 17. The Bengals lost at Indianapolis 31-27 last week. 

Armstead and the Saints return from a bye week to play their second straight home game. New Orleans defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 30-27 in overtime on Oct. 12, the fourth time this season the Saints have scored 30 or more points. 

Carolina is coming off a 23-16 home loss to Chicago. The Panthers are led by former New Orleans quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who led the Saints to five straight wins last season while Drew Brees was injured.
