## Caption

Growing up, my grandpa would always tell me "you can do anything you put your mind to," and I've always lived up to the hype. However, none of this is possible without the man above. As it reads in 1 Peter 5:6, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time." I stayed down, I made sacrifices, I treated people right no matter how they did me, but most of all... I grew. My story may not be the worst, but beating the odds isn't easy.

To my family, colleagues, and the city of Pine Bluff, thank you for the drive you've given me with your continuous support. Every achievement is for you, and I'm proud to say that I'm just a kid from the 870.

Special thanks to my brother, e.murry. You took me under your wing, inside and outside of sports information. Thank you for always being a positive influence and leading by example.

To Chris Robinson, Cameo Stokes, and the pride at UAPB, thank you for the opportunity. I expect nothing less than excitement and hard work this year as we prep for each season. Our student-athletes are the best, on and off the playing grounds, and I'm looking forward to the memories we will make this year!

With that being said, I'd like to announce my new position as Associate Director of Strategic Communications for athletics at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff!
