"Outside is where I go to relax, but also to challenge myself. As a speech pathologist, the time outside is essential to my renewal, regardless of what I might need. Climbing provides all types of medicine. There is great serenity in the ferns, moss and critters. Trying really hard is also healing because it reminds me that I can give something my all, and feel good about my efforts at the end of the day.
