"I am from a place of dirt roads, apple orchards, and corn fields. These days, instead of hiking trails, I climb concrete stairs; instead of crickets, I hear car horns. Yet in the last place I thought I'd ever find serenity, the city has given me the world of urban indoor rock climbing where I've found focus, calmness, personal strength, and a community. 
On my first day working for Arc'teryx, I was greeted with banners for the 'City to Sandstone' campaign, but my evolution has been quite the opposite. Learning to find adventure outside of just mountains and forests has demanded creativity; this process has given me the confidence to find adventure, beauty, and mindfulness anywhere. 
It is one thing to tolerate a place and another to immerse yourself in it, to learn to call it home. In the unexpected fashion that life tends to follow, Sandstone to City has led me to a new home."
