Here is your sign to start a kickball league with your friends. 

Interrupting your feed with a quick heartfelt love note about my team. 

The origin story of Kickball dates back to late summer of 2020, when 8 girls were looking for an outdoor activity. Back then, we had no field, used trees as the bases, never kept score, and mostly just ran around. 

This summer, I decided to revamp.

What started as a way to get my friends together for a hangout during the week, turned into a full blown kickball LEAGUE. 

We started the preseason in late April and just as the trees blossomed - so did our league. 

Each week, a slightly bigger team, and an even better game. 

We started a mandatory group stretch & warm up session (for those of us who showed up on time) to avoid injuries and (if we were lucky) someone wouldbring some snacks to share. 

Before we implemented a Referee and a scoreboard person, the winning team was simply… whoever could scream the loudest. 

Things started to get more intense as we actually started to follow some rules. 

No matter how competitive (u know who u are) or tired people were on a random Tuesday night, the game always ended amicably with handshakes and big smiles. 

Oh, and DUH, it was themed. From Adam Sandler, to Monochrome, my kickball crew showed up and showed OUT.

Couldn’t tag all of the 96 unique players that showed up this summer (yes I was counting) but thank you guys for an unforgettable summer.
