🟠 MCLAREN PRESENTS FOR THE 108TH RUNNING OF THE INDIANAPOLIS 500 MILE RACE THEIR SPECIAL PAINTSCHEMES

Arrow McLaren will share on his social media channels the paintschemes that they will be run by Pato O'Ward, Felix Rosenqvist and Alexander Rossi for the Indianapolis 500, that it will be run on 28th of May.

5)Pato O'Ward🇲🇽: the Mexican hero will run a tribute to the McLaren F1 GTR Lanzante Racing, who won the 1995 24h of Le Mans with JJ Lehto, Masanori Sekiya and Yannick Dalmas.

6)Felix Rosenqvist🇸🇪: a tribute to the McLaren MP4-2, winner of the F1 1984, 1985 and 1986 World Championships with Niki Lauda and Alain Prost. The Marlboro livery won't be new to NTT Indycar Series: from 1990 to 2009 it was the main sponsor of Team Penske. However, the Marlboro brand won't be present on the car for the tobacco and cigarettes sponsorship ban imposed since 2010.

7)Alexander Rossi🇺🇸: the paintscheme will bring back the orange papaya used by McLaren in USAC Indycar from 1971 to 1976, winning 3 editions of the Indy 500 in various versions of the McLaren M16 model. Certainly, the most popular win was in 1972, when Mark Donohue gave to Roger Penske his first win as a team owner and to McLaren as a chassis manufacturer at the Indianapolis 500.
