## Caption

JOSEF NEWGARDEN A very important victory for the American driver, bringing him just three points behind Will Power in the overall standings. He manages to get a good fifth position in qualifying, after which he attacks in the race whenever he can. His pace is good, so in the end he overtakes Scott McLaughlin just after the last restart and is not frightened by the return of David Malukas. 

DAVID MALUKAS Another rookie earning his first career podium in Indy Car! The young Lithuanian driver is perhaps the best of the Gateway protagonists, managing to make a comeback from the initial 12th position. He finds himself fifth after the last caution and does not get excited about the potential opportunity, managing to keep his concentration all the way. Second place definitely deserved for the boy. 

TAKUMA SATO Who does not die, we meet again! The Japanese veteran with a non-trivial past in Formula One is the author of the best performance of this season. He comes back to fight for the positions that count after starting from eighth position, leads the race for a few moments and finishes with an excellent fifth place finish after a very solid Saturday. 

FELIX ROSENQVIST His weekend is not the best, but after a qualifying that forced him to start last on the grid he manages to recover an impressive 13 positions in the first two laps of the race. This earns him the title of "bonus driver" at Gateway, although in the end he finishes the grand prix in a miserable 16th position. We hope to see him higher in the final rounds of the championship.
