## Caption

The round 9 of the Indycar season is taking place in Mid Ohio, with a total of 80 laps and 200 miles to be covered. Indeed, the sun is shining on a very crowded circuit as a lot of fans are attending the #race. 
The green flag is waved and the drivers undergo a clean start. However, the yellow flag is suddenly out after 9 laps: unfortunately, the Arrow McLaren SP driver Rosenqvist, who was holding a very strong third place, has lost power to his engine and is forced to stop on track. 

The race runs smoothly until lap 29: Pato O’Ward has a mechanical problem to his gearbox, an unfortunate issue since the Mexican has been leading the rest of the grid from the start. However, after a quick pitstop he is able to go back on track in fifth place. At the same time, the yellow flag goes out: the American driver of the no. 14 of the A.J Foyt Racing goes wide and off track into the gravels at turn 9. 

More than halfway through, O’Ward seems to lose some competitiveness as the problems to his car are increasing: indeed, he stops at the exit of the pitlane causing the fourth caution of the race and he is officially out of the race, after a brilliant qualifying session. Indeed, he confirmed that the issue was related to a fuel delivering pump. 

With 20 laps to go, the two Andretti’s drivers Grosjean and Rossi collide, but only the French man has the worst as he gets stuck into the barriers. As a result, Alexander Rossi is given a drive through penalty for having caused an avoidable collision. 

After the technical problems that #PatoOWard faced throughout the first half of the race, #ScottMcLaughlin leads the race until the end, conquering an extraordinary win: this is the second victory of the 2022 season for the Aussie. The second place goes to the 2021 indycar champion #AlexPalou.
A note of merit goes to the driver of the no. 12 car of Team Penske who lost some positions after a very difficult start due to a collision with Takum Sato: indeed, #WillPower completes an outstanding comeback from being last after lap 2 to finishing on the podium in a spectacular third place.
