"Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to undergo a VO2 maximal test administered at NAU College of Health & Human Services nauchhs, guided by the expertise of Scott Drumm, Tim Curry, Ben Ledwon, and Frank Micale. ⁠
⁠
🏃🏻‍♂️This test, a rigorous measure of aerobic endurance, revealed not just my fitness level but also how to leverage my threshold to drastically improve my training and hit my goals cleaner and smarter in the field.⁠

😮‍💨 By "training smarter, not harder," the lab study measured my functional capacity, and how much oxygen I can utilze at max effort, including my threshold at lactate build-up under heart rate and perception of effort. ⁠

📍 Understanding my VO2 max is crucial for tailoring my training to improve endurance and overall fitness. I'm immensely grateful for the supportive community at NAU that fosters such personal growth and health awareness. ⁠
