📢 When opportunity presents itself, don't be afraid to go after it
"Words cannot describe how grateful I am for the academic school year this far.

📍 I am so incredibly thankful that NAU gives me opportunities to cover fiesta_bowl all the way down to the wonderful local high schools in Flagstaff.

📍I have built much stronger relationships with the athletes at NAU through nau_athletics & especially with the coaches here.
Reporting and writing about high school volleyball specifically brought me right into the Flagstaff community and I felt right at home—Flagstaff is lucky to have multiple really great high school volleyball coaches.

I’ve become more versatile, confident, and have definitely learned a lot of valuable lessons this year so far.

🎤 I am so excited to continue into nau_mic_sports and start court-side reporting for NAU-TV for basketball season throughout the spring🏀 It’s always fun working with mitchstrohman & the NAU-TV team.

💛 And I owe it all to my professor, Rory Faust. He not only urged me to join this program, he’s helped me get opportunities that I couldn’t get anywhere else.

🏟 And here’s to finding out I will be covering the Super Bowl in Phoenix in February!!!!!!

I am extremely humbled to be included in the planning and coverage of a game I’ve watched my entire life!

I can say my dreams are really coming true & I am so excited to continue in sports media and public relations.
