The Gold Axe award is steeped in tradition-going back to a time when NAU was known as the Arizona State Teacher's College. In 1933, the student government began awarding small gold axe pins to students in recognition of excellence. 🪓

Today, the tradition continues. Kick axe to our Spring 2022 Distinguished Seniors, Gold Axe, and President's Prize recipients. ✨🎓👏
