‘Twas the night before finals 
And all throughout Cline
Not a Jack was smiling
They all wore a frown

The scantrons were ready
The pencils were sharp
Lumberjacks had studied
at least some small part 

The students were quite sleepy
but none touched their beds,
while visions of essays
danced in their heads

I in my chair
with my thinking cap on
had just settled down 
to write up a storm

When out in the hall 
There arose such a clatter
I sprang from my study room
to see what was the matter
And what to my wondering eyes 
did appear

But Louie Lumberjack proclaiming 
You have no need to fear
You've written and studied
and done all your work

Your grades will be tops
Your professors will be fair

Now history
Now science
Now English and math
On writing, on reading
On formulas too!

To the top of the grades
To the top of the class

Now test away
test away
test away all!
