"Officially finished with my second semester nauflagstaff I came home for spring brake with no books for any of my classes and only a few things for my camera thinking I would go back to AZ. Unfortunately the pandemic 😷 happened and I decided to stay home with family. At the beginning of the semester I was studying well attempting to study visual communications. From the grades I received --I knew that was not my major. I struggled a lot-- more tears than ever during this semester with not seeing friends, being evacuated for a week long due to the river fire that lasted from late August until my birthday. Most of all losing my grandma to cancer in the middle of it. This semester showed my colors of how I am as a student, and trying to learn what my purpose is in life.⁠⠀

Towards the middle of this semester I decided to drop a class and my major to look into other majors. With that, I had long conversations with the parents and family and I chose Environmental Sustainably studies & minor in photography in hopes of being a park ranger. I’ve always loved the outdoors, camping, hiking,riding bikes and taking photography. I was happy to know that nauflagstaff offered another science course that wasn’t the main Environmental Science course! ⁠⠀

With all that I am so happy to end this crazy semester in the middle of a pandemic 😷  Definitely a semester to remember.
