Our beloved @cocogauff took it seriously. She tried the Passive Cooking method and told us how she did it.
“Passive cooking is an alternative way to cooking pasta that reduces CO2e emissions by 80%. So, how? First, you're going to use the active cooking method, which is basically cooking pasta how you normally would, for about 2 minutes and stir occasionally. Then, it’s time for the passive cooking part. So, you're gonna turn the stove off, and you're gonna put the lid on top. And then you're gonna let it settle for the remaining cooking time. And this is how you passively cook pasta.”
