Across the league, MLB players and fans mourned the sudden death of 27-year-old Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pitcher Tyler Skaggs. The Angels were set to take on the Texas Rangers yesterday, but the game was postponed after Skaggs was found dead at the team's hotel in Southlake, Texas. Many players wore #45 today in Skaggs's honor, while the Angels returned to the field, defeating the Rangers 9-4. | July 2, 2019 | 📷: Patrick Smith, penningtonphoto, thearonhenderson | #mlb #tylerskaggs #gettysport #losangelesangels #texasrangers #washingtonnationals #minnesotatwins #oaklandathletics
