Nikki Michalowski ’18: It’s awesome having my sister as my coach. She definitely influenced me to play, so it’s pretty cool that we’re both here now. I think what I love most about being at Hofstra is our ‘Spartan over luxurious’ mentality. We work so hard, and that’s how we get to be where we are. We earn it. 
Coach Sara Michalowski ’11: And that’s also why our team is so close. We're a family that works for everything we have. If there’s one piece of advice I can give Nikki, it’s to make the best of what she has here. It goes so fast. And anything you learn at Hofstra, both on and off the field, you can carry with you for the rest of your life.
