I did think it was a bit weird that he brought his backpack with him to the city. He never does that. Paul: I needed somewhere to keep the ring. Hannah: We went ice skating at Rockefeller Center. I also thought it was a little strange that his parents were there, staring at us. Paul: They video taped the entire thing. I told her they were just passing through to have dinner with us. Hannah: Everyone was clearing the ice so they could clean it. But he wanted us to wait so we could take a photo. Paul: It was pretty funny. She was like, “Oh my gosh, this is so embarrassing. We need to get off the ice.” Hannah: Then our song started to play – “Something” by the Beatles. He got down on one knee and that was it. I was so happy. Paul: She started to cry. Hannah: Paul has so much love in his heart. And he puts that love into everything he does, including our relationship. That’s what made my love for him grow even more. Paul: Hannah is the biggest dreamer I’ve ever met. There’s nothing she can’t accomplish. I’m now a dreamer, as well, because she is in my life, and I’m thankful for that every single day. Hannah: I never could have imagined having this beautiful of a life and finding love at Hofstra. Hannah Gomes and Paul Franco got engaged on January 29, 2017.
