We recently put a call out for a breastfeeding mom for photos and so many moms said they have no photos of themselves they like 😞 during the first year.

Did you know studies show these reasons are why mamas are missing from our family photos:

🤍 the pressure of our appearance published on the highlight reels of social media (even if our family is used to seeing us as we naturally are) 

🤍The lack of our partner including us in the photo (or let’s be real, taking a descent one of us 😩) or not having a partner to capture those family moments. 

🤍 Avoiding the camera because of relationship with our physical appearance especially postpartum.

Do any of these reasons sound familiar? 

So what can we do about it…

To this we say - TAKE PICTURES 💞! you may not appreciate them now but for later! 

🤳🏽Selfies are an empowering way to own how we are captured that we feel best reflects us.

📸 Hiring a photographer is not just for grand life moments!  It’s is a great way to remove the stress of taking your own photos or having to ask someone else in your family (like your partner).
