…When we take that concept of basically as an athlete forced retirement from a sport because of pregnancy, it is no different than forced retirement from a sport due to a sports injury and that is absolutely something I contended with working with athletes in my early stages of my athletic therapy career.” Janette Yee on body image postpartum and athleticism in motherhood.
