PROS 🏆 
•less boob pain
•less cracked nips 
•less chance of mastitis
•less leakage 👌🏻 
•combo/bottle feeding allows more bonding time for the non birth parent 
•the baby doesn’t rely on you alone 100% of the time 🙌🏼 Freedom! 

CONS 😵‍💫
•feeling like a total failure because your body can’t do the thing it’s “supposed” to do 
•buying formula 💸
•trying to estimate how much formula you need for a top up every 👏🏻 single 👏🏻 time 👏🏻 and then inevitably wasting some or all of it
•pumping and sometimes getting next to nothing is time consuming, annoying, and disheartening 
•feeling guilty because sometimes pumping and bottle feeding or throwing in formula is just easier than doing breast compressions and latching drama 🤷🏼‍♀️ 

It’s all hard 😓 but to quote my midwife: 

“A pleasant bottle feed is infinitely better bonding time than a stressful nursing session. Prioritize your mental health. Your baby needs that most.” 💯👶🏻

Lastly… I reject the term “supply issues”. Stop using this language. Supply is never an issue. 📣 
Combo feeders, you have what you have, your baby is fed, and you’re crushing it. 👊🏼
