Finally home and have some time to reflect on this past weekend. Going into this meet I didn’t really know what to expect. I’ve been dealing with a piriformis injury that’s kept me from squatting without severe pain in my right glute. This became apparent on my third squat which I received ⚪️🔴🔴 for depth on my right side. I was definitely a bit discouraged after but my coach, chadwesleysmith sat me down and told me to move on. Squats were done and I needed to focus on the rest of the meet. My bench and deadlift training went amazing this prep so I knew I just needed to bench what I could and go for a big pull if needed. Ended up totaling 495kg/1089lbs and placing 1st on bodyweight. marisainda megscanlift joannaita7 #teamJTS is going to Worlds!
