How do you achieve timeless, historic style in your basic entryway? Add moldings! This before + after really shows the power of an artfully designed and installed applied molding. Often we are incorporating a stair railing as well that is needed for safety. Adding this railing into the millwork gives a very seamless finished look. Everything feels polished and elevated! 🌟 #centeredbydesign #millwork #stairdesign 

Design tip: we always use existing historical details to take design cues and profiles from when possible. This helps the new construction feel more accurate and authentic.
