Recently, our vcsar3 team’s training consisted of an exercise covering “Command and Control".

"Command and Control" training consists of a tabletop exercise that teaches team members how to manage a search properly. It helps in developing a comprehensive search pre-plan and understand its importance to in a successful search mission.

It helps identify basic search and rescue resources, discuss their functions and limitations and the sequence of initial actions in applying search and rescue resources to find missing subjects.
