Training Day for our vcsar1 team!

Today the team started their training with some AFAM (Area Familiarization) near Frenchman Flats. That was followed by individual navigation skills practice. Then the team started a mock rescue scenario where they conducted a search of the riverbed, located the subject, and extracted the individual to their vehicles about 1.5 miles away using a wheeled litter. 

Team 1 trains hard and is ready to serve the citizens of Ventura County when they are called in to action.

¡Día de entrenamiento para el equipo vcsar1 !

Hoy el equipo comenzó su entrenamiento con AFAM (familiarización de la zona) cerca de Frenchman Flats.  A esto le siguió la práctica individual de habilidades de navegación.  Luego, el equipo inició un simulacro de rescate en el que realizó una búsqueda en el lecho del río, localizó al sujeto y llevó al individuo a sus vehículos a unas 1.5 millas de distancia utilizando una camilla con ruedas.

El Equipo 1 entrena duro y está listo para servir a los ciudadanos del condado de Ventura cuando están llamados a la acción.
