Pallotto has been with VCSO for 10 ½ years and is the SRO for Rancho Campana High School in Camarillo. “My favorite part of the job is interacting with students and being able to help mentor and shape their future. I get to be there for some of their happiest moments and support them during some of their toughest times. Sometimes the students just want to tell a story and they need someone to listen. I love the fact that I can help bridge the gap between students and law enforcement and help humanize the badge. I enjoy knowing that each and every day I can have an impact on multiple students’ lives by listening, conversing with them or even giving a simple greeting to them.
