## Caption

Washington gave us a lot of clues on what the new uniforms will look like when they unveil them on February 2nd. We pieced together what we could find to make a final concept. We still don’t know the name, but for this concept, I used Commanders as the placeholder. Here’s the breakdown:

First, I didn’t attempt at predicting the logo. There’s potential leaks out there of what it could potentially look like, but I went with what could be seen in the official video. It’s blurred out, but it looks as though there is a gold W on both sides of the helmet and a single gold stripe down the middle. I know there is some speculation that it’s a white and gold stripe that potentially makes a monument, but in the blurred out video, we can see the stripe go all the way to the back of the helmet and what looks like a reflection off of the glossy gold in the helmet photo. The W will be on the white piece below the stripe. 

In the second picture, we can see what looks like a gold stripe and text overhead just above the numbers. I based the jersey text off of that and the version of the “Commanders” font that was shown in the video. The font used for the name and numbers was a modified version of the Cardinals font and is a similar version to what they’ll likely use but not exactly.

They will have white and burgundy pants. Remains to be seen on gold pants. For the white uniform, we can see a burgundy and black stripe (in the bottom right) with a diamond pattern on the shoulder. The numbers will be burgundy with a black outline. The number has a similar diamond pattern inside of them too. Doesn’t look like a lot of gold is involved and it is also very different than the burgundy uniform, so maybe this is an alternate uniform? Not sure. Jason Wright did tell Rivera that “this was one of the helmets” and in the video, it looks as though they have a burgundy face mask on the helmet. According to JP Finlay, there is a good chance that they will have an alternate black uniform option as well. We see a matte black helmet with a glossy burgundy and gold decal in the corner of the screen. Not sure if it’s a logo or number. #WashingtonFootballTeam #WFT #WashingtonCommanders
